I don't understand what's so controversial about this. My personal misgiving over it, is that her head looks like it's floating off to the side a little, but that's an anatomical technical issue, and every illustrator has them, and many strive to overcome them. Art is one of the few things in life that really qualifies for subjective reality because none of it is real anyway. Everybody's skill level is different, everybody's taste in what they like is different. I've seen fans flock in droves to something that looks like somebody totally unskilled drew it, while leaving in the dust a technically accomplished illustrator's work. I always thought Tony Daniel's women on his Top Cow covers looked like somebody put them on Willy Wonka's taffy puller, but hey, his work sold comics. My take is, who cares? People should leave well enough alone and let people be people. Somebody will like it, somebody will hate it. Vote with your money, and let the piece succeed or fail based on predominant public opinion. Focus on yourself, and your own development. Get your own house in order. You're not going to change human nature just because you get your nickers in a twist and bent out of shape over female anatomy and you just don't think it's fair to your offended activist tendencies. The beauty of this cover is in the eye of the beholder, thus there is nothing wrong with it. People need to grow up and get a grip on reality.
